Description
Here is a pair of BMW S85 Block-to-Chassis bracket adaptation kit. This BMW Engine Swap 2pc (or 4pc) kit comes complete with all the basics needed to build your own S85 V10 engine into any Chassis. Furthermore, the base material comes in Cold Rolled 1/4″ Steel, ready for perfect tig welds. These parts perfectly bolt on to your S85 engine block!
For your convenience, this 2 (or 4) piece kit comes with the following components:
- Driver Side S85 Block Adapter – 1x
- Passenger Side S85 Block Adapter – 1x
You may also elect to add circular mount adapters. These are intended to sit atop your rubber or polyurethane engine mount, such that you may “connect the dots” between the S85 Block Adapter to the Engine Mount Adapter. In most cases, customers elect to design their full metal upper mount adapter to directly weld to the Block Adapter. But this option is available as an alternative!
Finally, hardware may be added as well. We would supply M10x1.5 – 20mm SHCS 12.9 Black Oxide Coated!
For Most Applications, we highly recommended E30 M20 or M60 Motor Mounts to have proper trans output driveshaft alignment and hood clearance. Poly or rubber will suffice. Condor or Garagistic have these mounts available.
Installation is Bolt-On, but requires welding as pictured in the installation photos.
